What am I wearing?

Skirt from Nordstrom.
Cardigan from NY & Co.
Shoes from Bakers.
Watch from Forever 21.
random white tank.

I actually bought that skirt months ago, and that was just the first time that I wore it. I really love the colors, and I think the blue cardi makes the blue on the skirt POP! This was an outfit for work.

Dear Mr. Barnes, Please Don't Hate Us

As all of you know, I am now a poetry junkie. Yes, I admit it, I go monthly or bi-monthly to open mic poetry readings. I don't go up and read, because, well I don't write poetry, but I enjoy it very much!

Barnes and Noble hosts a poetry reading each month. Well this month we [me and the honey] went, and it was fantastic they had a guest reader, which means he was an actually successful poet, with books and all. He was ah-ma-zing! I really loved getting to "know him" if you know what I mean.

After it ended, I decided I wanted to hang out [like always] and then take some pictures, because I took some really nice pics of the honey last time we were there. We were looking at some books, and I found a really big book of naked models, so I had to sit down and look through the whole thing and as soon as he noticed what I was looking at, he plopped himself into the floor, right besides me. And here comes the witch a nice lady comes out of a little secret-employee door, and tells us that we can't sit there because other people can't see the books. Which is totally understandable, except there wasn't ANYBODY ELSE in that whole naked models artsy area. We just smiled and finished with the book.

We then proceeded to take the pics, so that we could go home. We took some pics, I hate most of them, but the point is that the same bitch nice lady comes out of NOWHERE and then proceeds to tell the honey that he can't take pictures inside of Barnes and Noble because of the copyrights of the books! WTF? WTF? WTF? Just so you know he was taking pictures of ME, and ME only, like walking around and stuff, not like he was being a creep just snapping pictures of bookshelves.

Ok, so maybe I was holding books and stuff, but whatever!!!

Leopard top and gray sweater from NY & Co, Guess jeans and old boots.

PS: I know my hair is just plain bushy, but I don't really care, LOL.

What am I wearing?

I put this on for work and then I end on Fashion Island, literally! For those of you who don't know what it is, it's a mall [ an amazing mall, that is] on Newport Beach in Orange County. Ok, so that said. Picture time!

Top, $1 from a yard sale!! Leggings from Heavenly Couture. Belt from New York and Co. Sandals from Cathy Jean. Flower on my head from Wet Seal. Bracelets from Natalia's Prestige. Confession: I really, really do hate wearing leggings with sandals, I hate how it looks, like people can see your ankles and it is just weird! But, I was really tired [hello, I went out the day before] and just wanted to wear flats, oh well.

Did you notice my pink lipstick? It's Revlon, and I'm blogging about it soon. Also, check out the family picture on our living room. Awwww we're so the cutest. [Gonna stop being pathetic now].

And yes, I am turtle obsessed as you can tell from my previous post, there are also turtles on my bookshelf and, yes that BIG round thing is a candle. And it was custom made and it smells like the sand and the beach in Puerto Rico. I.LOVE.IT!!!!

What am I wearing?

So I decided not to crop the pictures and make them all into one. I don't know, this way you might be able to see the outfit a lil' bit better, as well as the messy room and my balcony full of bikes no one rides, etc.

I am wearing my New York and Company top and cardigan aka my uniform. Guess jeans, Cathy Jean sandals. Necklace from Francesca's Collection [I love it!!] .And my feathered head band, which I had custom made, and my boyfriend loves to refer to as "the onion". It is from a designer I met through facebook and decided to give her a shot. She is amazing, I shall interview her soon.

What do you all think, does it really look like an onion???

What am I wearing?

I know I am like really behind on this posts, but I've been sorta kinda busy; anyway this is what I wore on July 28 for work. I know I keep wearing those little cardigans with the matching little blouses [both from New York & Co.], but they are just perfect for work. So comfy, and also warm, since it's pseudo freezing in there [hey, at least for me]. I went with my amazing vintage looking ballet flats, that also happen to have some sort of jewelry on top; and my new shades I got from Francesca's Collection. Now, I warn you, the website doesn't do the store any justice. The store has a vinateg, thrift store feeling to it, and the decor is always amazing. However, if you're not close to one, you might as well check the webbie hehe. Ok, and now to the pictures.

Again, I apologize for the lack of light on the pictures as well as QUALITY!!. But I try.

What am I wearing?

It has been reaaaally hard not to wear my wasitcoat every single day of my life, but I couldn't resist it any longer, so here I am again, wearing it for work [I need to start going to some other places, huh?].

I went with jeans again, [the same dark ones, from the last WAIW post]. I wore my favorite shirt, plaid, semi-long sleeves (from NY& Co.), patent leather flats (from ALDO) and my super-duper awesome new rosary I had my friend design for me [expect interview soon]. I felt so awesome, I think my customers also picked up on that, because I made great sales!

I also made a Polyvore set resembling my outfit for that day, here it is.
