Introducing Ambar's Shop

Soooo, I'm pretty sure that most of you guys have already seen it, since it appears under my profile [It says I have two blogs, and has the link for both of them there]. I even have some followers there! But here is the "official" introduction to my shop.

Naughty Shopping - Fashion Island

You know how I've been saving money, and staying within budget and all. Well, I've been very, VERY naughty because for the past couple of weeks I've been shopping. SHHHH don't say anything! I know, I know. But hello, in my defense, I have a new job and I needed clothes. And clothes I got.

Remember the day that I went to heaven? Well this was my second destination, fashion island. I love that place, I just had to go! And here's what I bought that day...

Yea, I know you already saw me wearing that here. But I wanted to emphasize the detail of the shirt. I really love that graphic. And of course I totally heart my vest. They are both from Urban Outfitters, both on sale and both medium.

I spent like $60 on all of these items. I've already worn two of them and I'm trying on things to go with my skirt and my tights.

RIP Plaid Shirt

I really don't even know how to start, I feel so sad. My favorite shirt has passed away. Last time I wore it quite a while ago, [I've been avoiding the subject] I noticed it had -gasp- a hole. Yes, a hole!! a tiny lil' hole that no doubt will get bigger even if I wash it. I decided that I will give it away, not throw it out because you practically can't even see the hole, but I know it is there and I don't feel like wearing it like that. So, let's all please have a moment of silence and remember my favorite plaid shirt.

This was  a quick trip to the nearest pet shop where they hold "cat adoptions". BUT we haven't seen any cats for the past two weekends *sad*.

This is one of the tops that I got at the flea market and as you can tell I'm reaaaally obsessed with all things extra big for me!! Isn't it super cute, and it was only $7.

Wearing: Old Navy shorts in navy blue, top from flea market, bracelets, from Aldo [the studded ones and the one bangle with Indian designs], silver cuff from Puerto Rico [handmade], shoes from Naughty Monkey. I must say, I LOVE THEM!!!! This was the first time I've worn them and I can't wait to wear them again. They have leopard print, snake print on the sides [sorry, I don't think it shows on these pics] and those round thingys are made out of coconut!!! OH, I'm in love. I never mention my sunglasses but they're Ralph Lauren.

Kate Spade Edition

As all of you know, I went out Wednesday with the honey [you can go here for the details] and of course we got hooked and had to go out again yesterday! I had no idea that we were going out again, so I had no outfits prepared on mind, which led to improvising. This was the result:

Aghh, ok so I hate don't like any of the pictures, but they're the only ones I have of the outfit. And yes, my bangles say cute, and yes I did a hand belt for the last picture.

OK, so why Kate Spade? Because of the leggings DUH! In case you have been living under an unfashionably rock lately, her Fall line is all about colorful leggings, see proof below, and of course I already wore my green ones and that was a total hit [at least for me, on my fab world] so, I tried the fuchsia ones and I loved it!

I really love that last picture there, although it looks kinda grainy, oh well. This is what I wore last night to "Happy Hour". I know everybody  must be so tired of seeing me wearing my waistcoat and rosary, but I just love them!!! Ok I might need help from a support group.

Gray top is too old for me to remember where I got it from. White tank top from Wet Seal [99 cents]. Shorts from Old Navy, can't remember the price [sorry!!!!!] and my Steve Madden babies boots. Rosary from Natalia's Prestige and bangles from ALDO. Silver cuff handmade in Puerto Rico.

We went to a couple of bars in downtown Long Beach and had an amazing time!!! I would definitely recommend this places, Mai Tai Bar and Alegria Cocina Latina.

I am pretty sure that by now, all of you must be thinking that I am wandering the streets naked. Well, I am not! I just haven't been wearing anything fancy/new/blog-worthy, etc. Anyways, here are some pics of the last cute thing I wore to work.

I made a set of my outfit, and there it is. If you study it properly you'll see that is as real as I could get. [That's the perfume I wear, my fave body butter, the nail polish, my shoes, my camera!, LA Live, the flatiron, th eyeshadow, etc]. Now, here are the real pics.

I know there isn't like a single decent pic in there, but I did my best. You can at least see my outfit, which got me many looks, but they were mostly accompanied by "WOW's" and "She looks cool", I also heard a lady in the bathroom saying something among the lines of I want green nail polish.

Speaking of makeup, I used the eyeshadow I talked about here. I think I really worked it this time!

That's and me the honey before the concert started, and yes he is bald!

ps: We saw this Puerto Rican hottie [Amaury Nolasco, from Prison Break and Transformers....go PUERTO RICO!!!] as we were walking towards the parking. He is extremely cute, but not as tall as I thought/imagined. Oh well *sigh*

Ok, it's more like His pics, My pics, but that didn't sound like such a good title. So this is actually a What am I Wearing post, except I decided to change the name, for this once. Basically what happened was that I took pictures, and then he took pictures. I'm not even going to try and make you guys guess which ones are mine and which ones are his, because it is pretty obvious. Here they are [this ones are mine obviously]. Like I tried in the past few posts, I didn't shrink them so that you could see the outfit better. Sorry for the mess of my room :/

I can't remember the name either, I think it's something like hi-fashion or something like that, regardless it was $17], black tank top from Victoria's Secret, white tank top [it was pink before the first wash] from Wet Seal [99 cents!!!!] and my beloved waistcoat that I got at the same store I bought the skirt but can't remember the name. Tee-hee. Long pearl necklace from Francesca's Collection and the black rosary and matching bracelets from Natalia's Prestige [my friend who also happens to be a designer] and some of the bangles that I got from an artisan in Puerto Rico a few years ago.

What a difference!!! Just added my Ralph Lauren shades. So, I went to work dressed like this, I know! And after I picked up the honey to go to Cherry on Top, my newest addiction, I also love how the name sounds X rated. It's a yogurt place, no wait, it's yogurt paradise. The location could also double as a club/lounge, yeap it is that amazing!!! Sneak peek below.
