More than one pair of the same shoe?

I've probably talked about my obsession with these shoes before, but I have to know. Do you think that owning the exact same pair of shoe in different colors is weird? I mean they are comfy, and I do like them. Is that wrong? Should I just go for another style? I stopped at three. But I remember having to literally stop myself from getting the black ones in patent leather, remember?

I definitely HATE IT! It's always been a huge pet peeve of mine. No matter how hot the guy is, he's gotta have his toes covered up. And it's not that I'm grossed out by men's feet, I know some women are. I just hate the look. I think they're only appropriate for the beach/pool. What do YOU think?

Some Thoughts and a GIVEAWAY!!!!

First things first. Did you guys read my guest post at Jules' blog??? Cool, you rock...

So lately, I've been feeling very homesy. You know, instead of wanting to spend my money on clothes/shoes/accessories [which I ALWAYS want], I find myself looking at furniture and home decor, and kitchens, and recipes, etc... But as it turns out the honey doesn't like antique-looking furniture [I'm still trying to get over this fact, someone please hug me], he likes modern stuff. Like these super cool stools here. They even have a direct link for modern looking ones. Sigh.

That's basically all that has been on my mind lately. That, and the fact that I really want cobalt blue heels, but enough about me, and onto the giveaway...

I Feel Happy in 2010

That doesn't mean I wasn't happy in 2009. I'm just really, REALLY happy. There's still some things missing in my life, like family and friends. You know, is just me and the huns here. But I feel like I can't stop smiling and I love that.

I don't make New Year's Resolutions, or at least I didn't this year. But I knew in my head what I wanted, and that was happiness. I want to accomplish some other things, obviously, but I feel like writing them on paper is not precisely what's gonna make them happen.

Hi lovers!!! I hope you all had an amazing Christmas, alone or with family and friends I hope you enjoyed it!! Also, I have really good news for you, the mall has ended their extremely ridiculous holiday hours!!! I Am Done!

Reading blogs that is! Or should I say catching up. Yeap, I just took forever and a day, but I'm up to speed with everyone, and even if I didn't comment as much [would have taken forever x1000], I read it all.

... ME! UGH I've been like the worst, most horrible blogger in the history of TIME! of ALL TIME!!! [insert Kanye's voice]. I haven't visited your blogs for almost [note: almost] a week. My Weekend was Ah-Ma-Zing!

I usually don't do the whole weekend re-cap thing, cause umm yea my weekends are pre.tty lame [and it's also kinda late right now, but I have to do this, I feel like sharing all the amazingness]. I loved this weekend!!!! Ok let me start.. New Moon premiere Thursday at midnight.. wooooooohooooooo OMGG I felt like I had waited FOR.EVER for that movie [cause well I had] and it was great. Definitely loved that, even though I had worked 8 hrs that same dayyyyy and I was off like at 9:30.. so umm yea zero rest. It was directly from work to the line [that I had made the honey do since earlier, all by himself].

I loved it. period. Jacob is beyond hot, and I beyond love him.

Fast-forward [FF, not to get confused with follow friday] to Friday.. my day OFF! Hear that... o f f. So what did I do, I did nothing! Well for maybe except catch up on your blogs, and spend some time with the huns since he was working from home. I took time to wash my hair properly, put some hair mask on it, shave wherever hair needed to be shaved, [watched one of the slowest movies in the history of time, but Brad Pitt starred on it, so I didn't complain], etc...

FF to Saturday, a litlle bit of work, then... the huns took me out to dinner. There is this little restaurant that we always pass by, and we decided it was time to check it out. Ohhh emmm geee. It was perfect!!!!!! Everything was a 5 [out of 5], except the food, the main course only, I would give it a 3. The appetizers were BOMB!, and the wine yummy, and the place, the music, the service... OK I loved it. So they were doing this thing FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME where they had Latin music... HA! Needless to say, we danced our booties off all night long!!! Ok it was still around 12 amish when we came back but whatev. They had salsa, merengue and reggaeton, and some top 20 too. LOVED it!

FF to Sunday, couldn't sleep due to the polar bear snores that my boyfriend was imitating TO PERFECTION!! [ok, so obviously I've never heard a polar bear snore, or even a regular, good 'ol brown bear] but I believe that it is LOUD AS EFF. So yea, got up at 5:20 am, tried to sleep until 6 am, gave up, and tried waking woke HIM up. Had to use some food bribes [real fact]. We went to iHop [love spelling it like that] and I tried the cheesecake pancakes... ohmycrazugodthatwasdeliciousriwantotitieveryday. Went back home, read more blogs for a few hours, and then IT HAPPENED. Some horrible neck pain decided to visit my neck, you're not welcome pain, NOT WELCOME! I basically couldn't look up and/or to my right side. I had work late on Sunday, so it was very, very painful to work like that. I also couldn't drive, let alone SLEEP. Boo pain!

FF to TODAY, Monday. Thankfully, by some crazy miracle, I had the day off. So, first thing in the morning I went to the spa so they could get rid of my "visitor". Oh my, I had forgotten how much I love spas. They're amazing, I love it when other people rub me while I'm naked professional therapists help me relax and de-stress. The lady was so sweet, and had a great hand, if ya know what I mean.

My to-do list was ginormous, cause I didn't do eff on Friday [my previous day off]. So I spent the whole effin day being a housewife on steroids. you know the kind who goes to Kmart, and Ralphs, comes home, and starts cooking, laundry, vaccuming, dusting, folding, organizing, swiffering at the same time. Yeap that was me. I may or may have not gone to the mall and squeezed a minor, tiny shopping in there, but who knows!! I guess I'll keep you wondering.

Annndd last but not least [evur] I attended an awesome virtual tea party for my honey D from Dream Sequins birthday. It was off the chain! You can check it out here. [Jajaja ok, I haven't had coffee since this morning, but I'm hyper [can you tell?] and I'm writing a super, duper long post, and I'm also being VERY sarcastic, and for some reason I want to talk like Chapelle, and I HATE that guy]. Also, one of my girls at Bon Bon Rose is celebrating another year of life, so go say happy birthday!! Love you guys XOXO.

What am I wearing?

This is the outfit that I wore to Kooza, that was the day that I started to feel sick. BOO! My outfit was very simple, yet trendy. I needed the comfort, hence the flat boots. Without the accessories, it seemed as though I was wearing a leotard and was ready to start dancing any given minute.

I decided to wear my gray bra thingy to give the illusion of "layers", also cause I love gray. I was wearing a basic black tank top and leggings, both from Heavenly Couture. My gray oversized top from Windsor, studded, suede, flat boots in taupe. Chain necklace from For Love 21. And the bangles that I always wear, LOL. From Aldo and vintage/handmade. My red ring from Francesca's Collection and my nails in Midnight Affair, of course Revlon. Hair straight and some makeup.

Added: Yea I know this is the 1st time I publish it, but since I wrote it almost 1 month ago, I'm gonna add stuff to it, also cause I'm the boss, literally.

1-Thanks to all of you who commented on my last post about working on weekends. It sucks, but I am not the only one, and I do make a lot of $$$ on the weekends, and just in case, NO I do not work standing on a corner [no offense to anybody].
2- I have to leave in 30 mins and all my clothes [the cute ones] are in the dryer machine, wish me luck!
3- My lover Jennifer [I seriously, seriously LOVE her] from The Novelista Barista gave me the coffee cup award [which is ironic right now cause I am drinking coffee] so go check her out, now. I've fallen in love with her, and just like she said, if we lived closed to each other, I am sure as eff we would be the best IRL besties evuuurr, and hopefully I just didn't freak her out being the creepette that I am.
4- I KNOW a lot of you have given me awards, and I have that post pseudo ready, is just that I am obsessing making sure that I don't give the same award to the same people twice, cause you are all THAT awesome, and it could totes happen.

Hey guys...

Just a lil' update of moi here. I have a headache [nothing new, and it's really not that bad either]. I just spent half a century some time in the shower hoping it'll make me feel better, I think it worked. Today was my day off, and tomorrow is my other one, YIPEE. I SLEPT ALL FRIKIN DAY, TODAY. Yeap, I got up around 3pm....ahh so good. Although I really think that I'm getting my period soon, cause those are the only days that I feel THAT tired.

Anywhoozerss I did some errands, you know, post office [I mailed the giveaway], grocery store... blah blah. Then went to the mall with the honey, to do some EXTREMELY EARLY Christmas shopping. We just did our nieces/lil' cousins. And by ours I mean his goddaughter and my lil' cousins. We just went to the Pumpkin Patch and Justice. Seriously I love Justice, why wasn't there a store like that when I was growing up?? AGHH

So here's a pic that the huns took of me while I was trying to decide on some things for the girls. So umm yea, that's me with I-don't-care-how-I-look-hair and I really-will-NOT-put-on-makeup-for-this.

Important Thoughts of the Moment

Hi everybody, I've got news for you. I reached 100+ followers on my blog recently... YAY!!!! I am so excited, I just can't even describe it. Maybe I sound lame, cause you have like 2000+ on yours, but to me, this is important. This is what I love doing, and just having the comfort that somebody else likes it, is amazing.

As a gift to you, yes YOU. I will have my first EVER VLOG!!! I've never used a webcam, let alone uploaded a video of myself anywhere. So yes, you will see me, SOON. Balmain

With the wide, padded shoulders trend everywhere, is barely impossible not to be thinking about Balmain. The amazing label carries the name of its original designer, Pierre Balmain. Pierre founded his house in 1945 right after WWII. European royalty and Hollywood stars, like Katherine Hepburn admired his looks. Sadly, Balmain passed away in 1982, his assistant Erik Mortensen took over until 1993. This was when Oscar de la Renta came in the picture. After that, there were financial hardsips, more designers, financial help, etc. Today, its current designer is Chrsitophe Decarnin, who has been working there since Fall 2006.

Balmain's product line includes handbags, shoes, fragrance, and jeans. Kate Winslet, Kate Hudson and Gwyneth Paltrow are current clients. You can find more about Balmain here. Below are three pictures of his Fall 09-10 collection.

"I'm looking forward to..." seems to be my phrase for this day. I was looking forward to a good rest. Got it. I'm looking forward to this weekend when Frag Man (my bf) gets back. Thoughts

If this is my destiny, I refuse to accept it. 

I once said or just basically told myself, that I was the only one that could change my life. Well, some changes came up, and is that time again when I have to start working for me, and I don't mean working as in a business owner, although that is never a bad idea. What I do mean is that I will not just sit there and let life just happen. I'm gonna make it happen!
