What am I wearing?

Valentine's Weekend - Day 3
I know, always on top of things..talking Valentine's on the end of March (:

This is it. This was Valentine's Day!!!

Let me just say this first. THE HONEY WAS AMAZING!!! Are you reading this hun??? You were awesome. You got me a purrrfect gift, and chocolates, and dinner, and took me out. You were just the best!!!!

Saturday when I returned home from work.. you know with the horrendous cramps and whatnot there was a gift on top of the bed. Just for me, and just what I wanted. Awww.

Ok, I'll stop now before people start throwing up.

-Dress from F21
-shoes from bakers
-Michael Kors watch

In case you haven't noticed yet. A dress from Forever 21 and a pair of shoes from Bakers is the way to go. I made the mistake of going in the Forever 21 Mega Store to find a dress for Valentine's Day and ended up with waaaay more than one outfit. Thankfully I can wear all of them for work. Wheeww! A lady's gotta justify sales. Done and done.

I loved the color of this dress, and the simple, yet sophisticated look to it. It's kinda tricky to wear a bra, so I guess it's just for us ladies who have NO boobs. The honey loooved the length of it, as being that I'm tall, normal short dresses look extra short on me. NOT.MY.FAULT. We went to a little Italian restaurant and it was all perfect. Love you dear.

PS: You can check out pics of my makeup on this post here.

What am I wearing?

Valentine's Weekend - Day 1

Before we hit Christmas again, here are the pics of my Valentine's Weekend. This was Friday Feb 12. We went out dancing/drinking. I let the lady who cut my ends play a little with my hair. I don't necessarily love it, but I don't hate it. I also got a mani/pedi and had my eyebrows done. Woohoo me!

-Dress from Forever 21
-Ring and shoes from Bakers
-minty nail polish is from Icing and it's called Mint 2 Be
-toe nail color is also from Icing and it's name is Champagne Bubbles

I love those shoes!!!! They're extremely comfortable and just plain dreamy. I always get compliments on them. Ohhh and speaking of compliments that day as soon as we walked into bar #1, this lady came up to me behind my back and poked me. I turned around and she said "Excuse me, I'm sorry, I came from across the room to tell you that you look amazing" "You're beautiful, I love your dress". I just mumbled thanks, and when I turned... the honey's face was just PRICELESS!! We left after I chugged my sangria.

I did my makeup this day, and loved it!!! I kinda can't believe I did it. Don't worry I'll be blogging all about that soon!

PS: Have you entered my lovely necklace giveaway yet??? There's still time, hurry up. ENTER.

Saturday Images

Last week I didn't post my Saturday Images, despite having done the post. And this week, I really don't feel like using those pics anymore. Why? Well because I don't feel like that anymore.

Lately I've been really aching to go home. I need to feel the warm air, the sun rays heating me up, the sand below my feet and  the smell of the beach. I need to be home. I need to stare at the ocean. Those of you who follow me on twitter, might have seen my tweet about this already. Well... it's still on my mind.

Location: Playa Sucia, Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico.

I'm sorry for my very untoned body, but frankly, at this point I don't care. All of these were taken last year during our trip to Puerto Rico. This is one of my favorite beaches, EVER! It's just breathtaking being there.

PS: All pictures by Neffer Carrillo.

A tag sounded lame, so a trail it is

I'm running out of ideas for post titles, at least I am right now. Anywayzzz, this post is about a tag and an award. If you're already bored with those, you can leave now. Ok, bye!! KIDDINGGG Don't you dare leave me.

My homie Anastasia tagged me to share 7 things about myself. Now, if you've been reading this blog for a while you know that I've done this quite a few times (here, here and here). However, since we're close to VDay, I will post 7 relationship-related things.

1. The honey's driving FREAKS.ME.OUT.
2. We don't have an anniversary.
3. Before I started dating him, I hated pink and did not own a single item in such color.
4. We met on the beach.
5. He makes me try new things [FOOD people, food].
6. He's shorter than me, although he frantically argues says he's not.
7. We don't know for sure how long we've been together [refer to #2].

[this is where we met]

The award was given to me by Yessika, my OEB [Official Email Buddy] and since she passed it on to half the entire blogsphere, seriously. I will keep it to myself.

How's your week going so far? I hear a lot of people are being oversnowed or whatever. I hope everyone's ok. Kisses.

My Birthday Part II

This is the second part to this story.

On the actual day of my birthday I woke up to this:

Yes I know they're just balloons, but like I said, the honey's not that type of guy. So this was the perfect beginning to the perfect day. PS: today, January 25th the balloons are still on that door. Talk about damn quality balloons!! LOL Ok, ok back to my bday. The honey had surprised me [he tends to do that] with reservations to a restaurant that we had passes a few times in downtown and that he knew I was dying to try.

He e-mailed me the reservation confirmation that they had sent him. This was on December 23rd during the day, which meant... 1) I started screaming at work... 2) I needed an outfit. Thankfully I didn't close (the store) that day because it would have meant no shopping for me. So being that I hate don't like shopping when it's crowded, and this was the day before Christmas Eve, I was a bit stressed. I ran down to the forever loyal, Forever 21, looked around, grabbed a dress, tried it on and $23 later I had my bday outfit.

I spent the day pampering myself, and by that I mean I went to get a pedi. LOL I needed it...badly! My feet hurt like crazy from the long hours at work, plus I was going to wear open toe shoes, which I hadn't done in forev, so I went there. I basically didn't do much for the rest of the day, not that I remember at least. I remember receiving one amazing gift, but I'll share those deets on another post.

Duck face for you.

I really didn't go all out with my outtie. I barely had any makeup on and my hair was just wet from the shower. I used some accessories that I had from a previous occasion [a formal ball] and my shoes were actually a birthday gift from when I turned 20. I love those shoes!!!!! Just wish they were a bit more comfy.

Here we are at the restaurant, the food was ah-ma-ZING!!!! The service, well not so much. We still had the best time EVER, I seriously love this guy, my birthday was AMAZING!! [Ok, for the people that don't know me or are new around here, I'm a big grumpy grinch, so he reached a milestone right there]. After returning home, I can't remember if we watched a movie or not, but rumor has it that I fell asleep singing this song...

So there you have it, my amazing, over.the.top, did.I.say.amazing birthday. Look for the next post on what happened on Christmas day...

PS: Thanks to all of you guys for the bday wishes that I got, a million thanks!

My Birthday Part I

Almost a month after, but hey, I've been a busy girl. So this is the first part of my birthday, which was on Christmas Eve. Why first part?? Well, because my family has a tradition of celebrating birthdays, Christmas, and such things the day before, after 12:00 am. So it's technically the day of your birthday, but well, not yet. Understand?

So this was December 23 after midnight. I had work, the huns picked me up, and after we arrived home he suprised me wih this.

Now, don't get me wrong he's very romantic, but not your typical I-buy-you-flowers-and-chocolates-all-the-time type of guy. So to be surprised with this was already FRIKIN AWESOME, also cause I L O V E chocolate. As you can tell I had already eaten most some of it before I could stop to take a picture.

After all this amazingness, he let me open one present, from the three that belonged to me under the tree. Note: This is another family tradition. We put the the gifts under the tree as soon as they're ready. So basically, the tree has gifts under it for a month. And you walk by it 10 times a day without being able to open them = TORTURE. I chose the smaller box, well because it had bells on it.

Crappy, crappy pictures due to the anxiety excitement.

OMG!! I believe that at this point, I had tears in my eyes.

The watch is beyond beautiful. Very, very classy yet feminine and OMG awesome. I have the rest of my birthday story coming up next week, stay tuned...

Kisses and have a fun weekend, if you're being flooded like me, be safe [geez, I'm so Edward].

XO

I Feel Happy in 2010

That doesn't mean I wasn't happy in 2009. I'm just really, REALLY happy. There's still some things missing in my life, like family and friends. You know, is just me and the huns here. But I feel like I can't stop smiling and I love that.

I don't make New Year's Resolutions, or at least I didn't this year. But I knew in my head what I wanted, and that was happiness. I want to accomplish some other things, obviously, but I feel like writing them on paper is not precisely what's gonna make them happen.

All pictures from here and here.

So there you have it, one of my top goals for 2010, is to be really, really happy!!! I think I've started to accomplish that already. How about you, do you put your own happiness as a priority? Are you happy?

Kisses my loveys, and have a great weekend, look forward to some surprises around here next week!

This is how we do it...

This is a post about Thanksgiving [in January]. Also, beware: Crappy picture overload.

The Recipe(s):

Please note my Spanglish and my gorg handwriting.

Deviled Eggs for appetizers.

My stuffing

I had absolutely no reason to cook stuffing,
since I had nothing to stuff, but I'm the boss
and I wanted stuffing. So shhh it.

Potato Salad for the side.

This lasted for at least a week and a half.
Next time: LESS potatoes.

Arroz con gandules
Rice with green beans

It's tradition so DUH!

The turkey

This was the honey's job
Note: and the gravy too.

Our finished meal.

Sorry for the crappy ass pic, but mama was starving!

This was our second [or third, it depends] Thanksgiving together. Last year we went out for dinner. This year [we were broker] so we decided to cook up the meal ourselves. The result: We [at least I] had an awesome time cooking with the huns. The only thing we bought was our dessert, it was like pumpkin pie or something. Anywhozers, this is how we did it.

The Honey's Naughty Shopping - Camarillo Outlets

I swear to God, I didn't buy anything there. But the honey did, buajajaja. I didn't even know we were going over there, so I just focused on his shopping rather than mine. He did get me a watch and a perfume.

You know the gold watch I've been wearing A LOT lately, you can see it here, here and here well yes it's the one the honey got me, and it's MK and I luuuuuuve it, DUH! And we totes have to go back there and get more watches. He also bought a MK watch for himself awwwwww. And that perfume.. OHMAGAWD. It is seriously HOT! I've had people ask me what is it, and I'm like hot, and they're like yea I know but what's it called. LOL [it's Ralph Lauren btw, I dunno if you can see on my crappy pic].

Alsoooo, I had a gold watch on my old I'm Craving list and he got it for me [not that he knew or anything] but isn't that just purrfect? And speaking of the honey, he was the one that I wanted to guest post on here you know for my super 100+ followers celebration, but apparently he has nothing to say about me, cause it's not like we live together or anything, or have been dating for 2+ years, etc. He still has NOTHING to write about. BOO! Please feel free to write extremely hateful comments towards him.

WOW!!! I've been meaning to post this since Oct. 18. Almost a whole month ago. This is what works does to you.

PS: I have a new poll going on so pleaaaaaaseeee vote on it [at the top of the right sidebar].

Happy Friday and kisses and hugs, or hugs and kisses, whatev.

What am I wearing?

And for my very first day of work people.. drum roll please...

I know my hair looks fugly, but these were taken HOURS
after I actually went to work, and it looked pretty then.

Work has been going great, I really love it. On the other hand, let me explain why I was cracking up like a maniac on these pictures. You know that my balcony is right there right? And the curtains were open, so people can an obviously see us, DUH! The thing is that all of the sudden there's a kid on the balcony across from us, looking at us. So, I'm like ok fine whatever. Then, he turns the light off, runs inside and comes back out [I'm pretty sure that he thought that since he turned off the light, we couldn't see him anymore, WRONG] holding a camera!!!!! You know a recording one. And right then and there starts filming us, you know with the night vision thingy and everything, FRIKING.HILARIOUS. I couldn't stop laughing. Oh, and in that last pic, I was just scratching my back, and the honey was all, DON'T move, I have a shot. Whatever, I've created a monster.

Wearing: Urban Outfitters top and vest, jeans from somewhere, and my Steve Madden booties. Earrings from F21 and my bracelet from Natalia's Prestige.

PS: Don't tell anyone but I have her interview coming soon [like-next-week-soon].

In Heaven... [Part Deux]

Remember when I went to heaven and died. no wait, I didn't I was just reaaally there. After that we kept driving, and all of the sudden, we're at this landmark or something, that to be completely honest I had NO idea it existed [sorry]. But it was there, and it was impressive. I'm not even making sense, so picture time!

[I was getting ready to say goodbye to paradise, and then...]

[Wanna shoot some hoops?]

[Here it is, the Korean Friendship Bell]

[look at the details]

[should I say more?]

[the super huns]

[me, in a VERY awkward position, but I.was.freezing.]

This place is actually in San Pedro, but it's still very close to home, like 25-35 mins. Also, you can click here to learn a lot more about the Korean Friendship Bell. It was pseudo impossible to get the whole thing on a single shot without falling down the hill, so you could also google pictures of the place, it is a definite must see if you're in the SoCal area.

All the deets of W.A.I.W. are here.
