My Favorite Sets of the Week - #12

Ruffles

This week's "theme" for my favorite sets seems to be ruffles. I love that first one, I think the picture makes a really big difference, because it adds like such a vibrant energy to it, I dunno just IMO. The second one has the colors, the boots and the artist perfectly put together. I need over-the-knee-boots, just sayin'. And this third one is simpler than the rest, but I love simple, sometimes less is more and this set just demonstrates that. I love the boots!!! But I already have open toe boots, so I'm not even gonna check the price, but oh my!

My Favorite Sets of the Week - #11

Belted

See? I told you that every week, there's a hidden theme within my favorite sets. I think I'm gonna start using it as a header. This week the theme is belts [on skirts apparently]. Love the chunky sweater of #1 and also the fact that is brown and black-ish, the shoulder padded blazer of #2 and the colors of #3. And those shoes, OMG! Totally amazing.

I hope everyone's feeling OK today, 9/11. I have been VERY happy since this morning, and I managed to stay that way throughout the whole day, and hopefully my night too.

Don't forget to vote on my poll. Kisses.

My Favorite Sets of the Week - #10

Hi, how are you all doing? Did you enjoy the long weekend? Did you had fun? What did you do? Anyways, I decided to post this today instead of Friday, so that everybody got a chance to see it [cause I know that nobody reads blogs on long weekends, because well, who the hell is sitting up on their computers? oh yea, ME!] I can't believe I've been doing this for 10 weeks now, WOW!

All of these sets have pictures. I love it how somehow every week the sets I choose end up having some sort of cosmic connection.

I'm a big gray fan and that skirt of the first set, with that whole outfit goes perfect, and the shoes OMG. Don't you need shoes like that, cause I sure do! Moving on... Neutral colors and Kristen Stewart, enough said! I love the delicate floral print and the tall boots [I also need a pair of those]. As much as I love neutrals and earthy tones, I also love colors, and specially if they're all in one outfit so elegantly put together like the last one. I would definitely wear that one.

Get the look for less... a lot less

We're talking $4,693.20 less to be exact. I put up a set [on Polyvore] of course, that shows you can still look red carpet gorgeous on a budget. Here are the outfits, I mean can you even tell which one is expensive and which one isn't??

They're both very simple, yet elegant. Obviously not one of my best sets, but it proves a point. I wanted everyone to be able to see both items on the same set, so they could properly compare. Still in shock? Check this out.

Outfit on the left:
Dress: $2,625
Shoes: $605
Clutch: $175
Earrings: $325
Bracelet: $805
Pendant: $365
Total: $4,880

Outfit on the right:
Dress: $16
Shoes: $49
Clutch: $49
Earrings: $25
Bracelet: $7.80
Pendant: $40
Total: $186.80

Yea, I know all of you want to go shopping with me now... kidding [although, if you do, please e-mail me]. It was really fun to put up the set together, and of course you can click on it, or go here directly for all the details if you want to buy one of the items.

Any thoughts?????

My Favorite Sets of the Week - #9

I really need Fall clothes, due to the fact that I have none, zero, zip, NADA. Ok, maybe I have a coat and some leggings, but that's it. Aaaanddd they're so last season, literally! UGH!! Enough venting for today, here are some really nice sets for all of you to enjoy.

I want that dress from the first one, and don't even get me started on the shoes! What do you think about the dress? Too much? Because I think it's purrrfect! I know that last week, I used a set that had the same skirt that's on the second set, but the outfit is completely different, it's kinda romantic, but not really. Ok, I'm not making sense anymore, I know...moving on. The last set, is kinda simple, compared to what I usually post here, but I just had to I mean, it doesn't need anything else. PS: I love the boots! I love the combination of the baby blue with the caramel of the boots, and the bag is black!! Everybody knows how much I love the whole brown + black combo.

So, that's it for this week's sets. Do you have Polyvore? If so, feel free to add me! The link is on the Polyvore widget thingy on my right sidebar.

Kisses,
XOXO

We Love Colors

The story goes like this... I was searching for green tights or leggings on Polyvore so that I could make this set that I used for this post here.

Thing is, well was, that I only found baby tights. I thought I was doomed, but then I remembered I could "clip" my own stuff to Polyvore, so I set on the task of finding leggings/tights that looked like mine. Easy? I think NOT! However, I kept looking, I was determined you see, and I came across We Love Colors, which is like the heaven of all colored leggings and tights, fishnets, etc

I just love the variety, not to mention the prices. I obviously needed to share this amazing website with all of my lovely readers. Here are a few of my fave tights. Enjoy!

My Favorite Sets of the Week - #8

First of all, I apologize for not blogging this past few days, I've been sick and it's been kinda like an on/off sickness. I'm better now, and hopefully I will stay that way! I did read all your posts, so don't worry about that!!

I am really into Fall already, even though I'm perfectly clear the season doesn't start until September 23 [thanks dad!]. So, basically I am loving all sets Fall related, all at least sets that have outfits that you can wear in the Fall or in cold weather.

There's something about the first one that just attracts me to it. Fatal attraction anyone? Naww, it must be the ruffles of the skirt, plus the gorg boots, plus Emma Watson, hello? I love her. The second one is just perfect neutral colors, oh and the shoes... oh my! In the third one, the color of the skirt and the boots, definitely made it a winner!! It is just so romantic and pratical for this imaginative "cold" weather. Have I mentioned I want something red?? I think the skirt from "September is coming" is just perfect for this red craving of mine!! I would totally wear that last outfit from "Happy Hump Day" and oh yes, I will leave you with that in mind. *Wink wink*

My Favorite Sets of the Week - #7

I love, love, LOVE combining green and brown, as well as brown with black. So that first set is tres chic. I specially like the dress and that bag, OMG! I need over the knee boots, don't you? I seriously need them. Seriously. Ok, I just reaaaally want them but c'me on, you can't blame a girl for wanting "Pretty Woman" boots. Aheem, back to the second set, I love that look, I think it's perfect for Fall. The third one screams perfection, it is like a transition outfit between summer and fall. You could take off the cardigan and still look summer perfect. The shoes, I don't care too much about, but that sequin bag is calling my name.

Hope you all have a great weekend.
XOXO

Model Spotlight - Carmen Kass

On my thoughts, Carmen Kass.

Carmen Kass

Carmen was born on September, 1978, on Paide, Estonia. She was discovered at the age of 14, and at the age of 18 moved to Paris to work as a model. She's been featured on the cover of Vogue, GQ and Elle. She has also modeled for designers such as Prada, Gucci, Donna Karan, Dolce & Gabanna, Versace, Chanel, Valentino and a few more. She is also the face of many ads/campaigns. You can go here to get the full details.

I love her body, that's clearly on a Victoria's Secret fashion show. She looks amazing there. I also saw a couple of pictures of her as a brunette, not bad either. I guess with that face and bod, you can go bald and still look awesome. Below is the Polyvore set with Carmen Kass.

My Favorite Sets of the Week - #6

I am loving the top with the vest and the bag, can you tell? Good thing the top is affordable because the bag is so NOT! I am really into shorts, especially this styles, I would wear all of these three outfits. I mean who wouldn't right? Ok, I'm gonna go shake it like a pom pom now, bye.

PS: Remember to vote on my poll, pretty pretty please!!!

Model Spotlight - Isabeli Fontana

On my thoughts, Isabeli Fontana, I mean, I'm seriously considering being gay now.

Isabeli Fontana

I have a thing for Brazilian women, I know. Isabeli was born on July, 1983. At the age of 13 she started modeling and by the time she was 14 she had moved to Milan to pursue her dream career [ I bet you're all glad she did, huh?]. When she was only 16, she appeared on the Victoria's Secret catalog, causing a little drama, because she was underage. After that she's been featred on magazines such as Elle, Vogue, Sports Illustrated- Swimsuit Edition; and has been on the runways for designers like Valentino, Versace and Ralph Lauren. You can click here for more info.

Ok, that whole being gay thing, I'm seriously considering it! I mean this woman is bea.u.ti.ful!!! Her boobies in that 2nd picture remind me a little of my boobs, they're also a world apart. On a side note, her jawline is something serious and that last picture, just love it!

Here's a Polyvore set with Isabeli on it. I also love that kind of layouts for sets. Great work!

My Favorite Sets of the Week - #5

Pure amazingness, that's what these sets are all about. I would definitely wear all three outfits on them, specially that second one by Yumy there. Love the darkness of the first one, that purse is screaming my name, she needs me. The color palette of "Today is only the beginning..." is very springy/summery yet, I would wear that all the way into Fall. Gotta love that grey cardigan. This is pure inspiration for me. Another week and I'm still amazed at all the good sets out there.

Model Spotlight - Gemma Ward

This week on my thoughts, Gemma Ward.

Gemma Ward

This Australian beauty was born on November, 1987. She's ben featured on the cover of Vogue magazine, just a few times over 20! Has worked in campaigns for Dolce & Gabbana, Christian Dior, Valentino, Prada, Yves Saint Laurent, and a few others. You might have also seen her walking down a few runways such as Givenchy, Balenciaga, Vera Wang, Michael Kors, and again many, many others. You can click here to find out more about her.

Like it says on many of her biographies online, she is very different. She doesn't look like anybody and nobody looks like her. I personally think that what makes her so different, is her eyes, but that's just IMO. I love, love, LOOOVEE that last picture of her with all the colors, and that hair, OMG!

And, here's the Polyvore set featuring Gemma Ward.

My Favorite Sets of the Week - #4

Ok, I can't take it anymore! I cannot just choose one, so that's why this is now called My Favorite sets of the Week, instead of just set. No more talking, here they are.

Green Day

I know that the first two have the same color palette more or less, also that they're both from the same person but I really liked them both, I think that what yelly did on the second set [from the top] with the skirt and the blazer was amazing.

"Green Day" is completely captivating, all the different shades of green, even though they're all dark, hunter green makes the set fabulous, or is it because green is one of my favorite colors, hmm. As for the last one, what can I say, I would just wear that right now! The shoes are to die for, and just the mixture of gray and brown is something I cannot resist.

Good job ladies!

Model Spotlight - Daria Werbowy

How couldn't be Daria Werbowy be on my thoughts?

Daria Werbowy

Daria was born in November, 1983 in Ukraine. At age 3, her family moved to Canada, and that's why she's considered a Canadian model, although from Ukrainian descent. Some of here clients include Prada, Versace, Gucci, Givenchy, Christian Dior, Chanel and many more. You can find out more about here here.

I think her face, as well as her body are totally amazing! She has such delicate features and gorgeous eyes. That second picture is fascinating, I loved what they did with the sand and those curls look fab on her. I try to keep it to only three pictured for the Model Spotlight but I had to add this next one [below]. Her hair is like WOW, and of course I love the bangles.

Here's the Polyvore set featuring Daria Werbowy.
