What am I wearing?

And for my very first day of work people.. drum roll please...

I know my hair looks fugly, but these were taken HOURS 

after I actually went to work, and it looked pretty then.

Work has been going great, I really love it. On the other hand, let me explain why I was cracking up like a maniac on these pictures. You know that my balcony is right there right? And the curtains were open, so people can an obviously see us, DUH! The thing is that all of the sudden there's a kid on the balcony across from us, looking at us. So, I'm like ok fine whatever. Then, he turns the light off, runs inside and comes back out [I'm pretty sure that he thought that since he turned off the light, we couldn't see him anymore, WRONG] holding a camera!!!!! You know a recording one. And right then and there starts filming us, you know with the night vision thingy and everything, FRIKING.HILARIOUS. I couldn't stop laughing. Oh, and in that last pic, I was just scratching my back, and the honey was all, DON'T move, I have a shot. Whatever, I've created a monster.

Wearing: Urban Outfitters top and vest, jeans from somewhere, and my Steve Madden booties. Earrings from F21 and my bracelet from Natalia's Prestige.

I had a job interview, this is what I wore. Then I went to the Beverly Center for the first time, sorta hated it, but whatevs.

Gray top that I bought the other Friday, and I've already worn once. Waistcoat that seems to be permanently attached to my rosary, skinny jeans, Steve Madden open toe boots. Silver cuff from Puerto Rico and the rest of the jewelry is Natalia's Prestige.

PS: I straightened my hair and it looks long.. YAY.

PS 2: That shirt got me a lot of good mornings, and good afternoons and good days..

PS 3: As all of you can see I keep wearing the same things over and over, I NEED to go shopping. AGH

Remember my shopping finds from last Friday, well this is the sweater that I got for $15 and I'm also wearing my new earrings from F21, although I'm not sure if you can see the detail [sorry].

I really love that last picture there, although it looks kinda grainy, oh well. This is what I wore last night to "Happy Hour". I know everybody  must be so tired of seeing me wearing my waistcoat and rosary, but I just love them!!! Ok I might need help from a support group.

Gray top is too old for me to remember where I got it from. White tank top from Wet Seal [99 cents]. Shorts from Old Navy, can't remember the price [sorry!!!!!] and my Steve Madden babies boots. Rosary from Natalia's Prestige and bangles from ALDO. Silver cuff handmade in Puerto Rico.

We went to a couple of bars in downtown Long Beach and had an amazing time!!! I would definitely recommend this places, Mai Tai Bar and Alegria Cocina Latina.

I made a set of my outfit, and there it is. If you study it properly you'll see that is as real as I could get. [That's the perfume I wear, my fave body butter, the nail polish, my shoes, my camera!, LA Live, the flatiron, th eyeshadow, etc]. Now, here are the real pics.

I know there isn't like a single decent pic in there, but I did my best. You can at least see my outfit, which got me many looks, but they were mostly accompanied by "WOW's" and "She looks cool", I also heard a lady in the bathroom saying something among the lines of I want green nail polish.

Dress from Heavenly Couture, green leggings from Francesca's Collection, the bracelet [from the 1st pic] is also from my designer friend, Natalia's Prestige, the nail polish is sinful colors from Walgreens, shoes from Steve Madden, hair and makeup by myself. Speaking of makeup, I used the eyeshadow I talked about here. I think I really worked it this time!

That's and me the honey before the concert started, and yes he is bald!

ps: We saw this Puerto Rican hottie [Amaury Nolasco, from Prison Break and Transformers....go PUERTO RICO!!!] as we were walking towards the parking. He is extremely cute, but not as tall as I thought/imagined. Oh well *sigh*

Ok, it's more like His pics, My pics, but that didn't sound like such a good title. So this is actually a What am I Wearing post, except I decided to change the name, for this once. Basically what happened was that I took pictures, and then he took pictures. I'm not even going to try and make you guys guess which ones are mine and which ones are his, because it is pretty obvious. Here they are [this ones are mine obviously]. Like I tried in the past few posts, I didn't shrink them so that you could see the outfit better. Sorry for the mess of my room :/

There you go...a whole bunch of messiness in the room and not one single good picture, oh well. Steve Madden booties, skirt from a lil' store around the corner [SORRY!! I can't remember the name either, I think it's something like hi-fashion or something like that, regardless it was $17], black tank top from Victoria's Secret, white tank top [it was pink before the first wash] from Wet Seal [99 cents!!!!] and my beloved waistcoat that I got at the same store I bought the skirt but can't remember the name. Tee-hee. Long pearl necklace from Francesca's Collection and the black rosary and matching bracelets from Natalia's Prestige [my friend who also happens to be a designer] and some of the bangles that I got from an artisan in Puerto Rico a few years ago.

What a difference!!! Just added my Ralph Lauren shades. So, I went to work dressed like this, I know! And after I picked up the honey to go to Cherry on Top, my newest addiction, I also love how the name sounds X rated. It's a yogurt place, no wait, it's yogurt paradise. The location could also double as a club/lounge, yeap it is that amazing!!! Sneak peek below.

In Movement

I realize that these pictures are very different from the ones I usually post, but my boyfriend took these ones. He was taking pictures of me as I walked to the car, hence the movement.

Talk about shutter mode, there's like a bazillion more pics and you can actually see me walking to the car, and dropping my purse inside, I didn't wear this bag. I used a little clutch that was inside this big one.

I'm sorry it's wrinkled.

I love this last one, it was two seconds after he said "don't laugh". As if! Ok, back to the clothes, I love this dress!!! and I've had it for a couple months now and I just hadn't worn it yet. Why? Don't ask me, I dunno. I also can't remember where I got it from, but it was under $25 for sure! I just decided to wear the bow on front instead of in the back like it is supposed to. The booties are Steve Madden, and the blue ring, we're all familiar with already is from Francesca's Collection, some of my bangles are from Aldo [the ones with studs] and the other ones are handmade from an artisan in Puerto Rico. On my other arm, I had a silver cuff that was also from an artisan in Puerto Rico.

Excuse me for writing such a never-ending-post, but it seems as though I can't stop typing. This marvelous outfit was worn on Friday to the movies. We saw The Time Traveler's Wife...ah-ma-ZING!!! The movie started at 7:30 and by 6:45 I was still in bed reading all your blog posts, so I ran into the shower and pulled my hair up, so that it wouldn't get wet. Got dressed, accesorized and left, that's why I have a crazy updo. I also went with 0 eye makeup because I knew I was going to cry my heart out, and no one looks good with mascara trails down their cheeks.

Back to the movie, amazing!!! AMAZING, AMAZING! Both their performances are breathtaking and it is just soooo romantic. I'm not gonna spoil it for anyone, but I do recommend it, so if you haven't seen it yet. Go NOW.

What am I wearing?

This was my Saturday's outfit for work, sorry for the ultra late post. I've been in and out of the dermatologist with crazy allergies and skin reactions, and most of the meds [benadryl, anyone?] make me sleepy.

But still revolving around a boho-ish vibe, [I really don't know what got into me last week], I decided to wear my semi-harem pants. Why semi? because they're not draggy all the way, but they kinda make me feel like Jazmin, from Aladdin. I secretly call them my jazmins. Well, I paired them with my amazing new yellow top from I heart Ronson (found at JC Penney) and some red beaded necklace I found while shopping there [I was actually looking for lingerie, LOL]. I wore my always loyal Steve Madden flats and voila! I received a lot of compliments, isn't life good?
